Product introduction:
Aerosols include three types: solution aerosol, suspension aerosol and emulsion aerosol.
1. Solution aerosol
If the drug is soluble in propellant and latent solvent, it is often prepared into a solution aerosol. Generally, an appropriate amount of ethanol or propylene glycol can be added as the latent solvent to make the drug and the propellant miscible into a homogeneous solution.
2. Suspension aerosol
If the drug is insoluble in the propellant or latent solvent, it is often dispersed in the propellant as fine particles. In order to make the drug disperse evenly and stably, it is often necessary to add surfactants as wetting agents, dispersants and suspension aids.
3. Emulsion aerosol
This kind of aerosol is emulsion in the container, the propellant is the internal phase, the liquid is the external phase, and the intermediate phase is the emulsifier.
Monobasic aerosol
One yuan aerosol product is a mixture of raw materials and propellant, and the gas is sprayed with the raw materials, which is neither safe nor hygienic.
Binary aerosol
Binary packaging refers to the aerosol with raw materials and propellant separated in two containers.
Compared with monobasic aerosol products, binary aerosol products are more widely used in medicine, cosmetics and other industries. Because of its more beautiful appearance, safety and health performance, manufacturers are favored.
